This was as big as my hand..i am absolutely serious! We got quite close as it was far enough away to be of interest but not scary!

The view from a wat in Luang Prabang..not sure it was worth the ridiculous amount of steps and the admission fee to see the Laos haze from above...Liz thought it was worth it.

Packed full to the brim
The view from the boat heading down the Mekong river...was lovely but pretty much the same for the whole 8hours..and then another 8 hours the next day!!!!!!
Some lovely people we met in Chang Rai, they were nice enough to share a taxi (im not even going to try to type the actual word for this!) to the white temple with us, they were great and we were sad we didnt have longer with them. Hopefully we will see them again in Vitetnam! The street noodles here were delicious and so very cheap :-)!
The beautiful white temple in northern Thailand..absolutely stunning and an interesting approach to the sins of life...with a mural on the inside wall that features the matrix!!
